The Alabama Butterbean Festival in Pinson offers a greased pig contest as part
of its Labor Day weekend fun.

• The sixth annual Alabama Butterbean Festival offers 2 days of entertainment, activities and more in Pinson. Country, gospel and other musical acts will fill two stages throughout the event. Other diversions include the Mr. and Miss Butterbean Pageant, an antique car show, 5k race and 1-mile fun run, a butterbean and cornbread cooking contest and a greased pig contest.
